Organizations
Overview
Organizations are the top-level entity in Pay-i's hierarchical structure. Each organization serves as a container for all your Pay-i resources, users, and settings.
What is an Organization?
An Organization in Pay-i represents a company, business unit, or independent entity that manages AI resources. It defines the broadest boundary in your Pay-i account and encompasses everything beneath it:
- All Groups and Applications
- All users and their permissions
- Organization-wide settings
User Roles and Access Management
Pay-i has two user roles at the Organization level:
- Owner: Can modify settings, manage users, and access API keys for all groups and applications in the organization.
- Reader: Can view settings and data for all groups and applications in the organization, but cannot make changes or access owner API keys.
Unlike permissions for Groups and Applications, where the user roles are managed in the Pay-i UI, organization level roles are defined in the enterprise identity provider for maximum security.
Organization Creation
Organizations are created during the Pay-i onboarding process. To create a new organization or for questions about the process, contact [email protected].
